What can I expect from Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures?
Millions of visitors have been fascinated by the reconstruction of the boy king's tomb, featuring around 1,000 replica artefacts crafted in Egypt. The exhibition offers you a once-in-a-lifetime insight into the archaeology of ancient Egypt. You are taken on a journey of exploration to experience the treasures of Tutankhamun and his famous tomb chambers exactly as they were when discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter. Through the exhibition, you relive that magical moment of discovery.

The exhibition will be held in an indoor venue.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes! The venue is fully climate-controlled.
How long does the experience last?
The visit will take between 90 and 120 minutes.
Is there an audio guide available in the experience?
Yes, an audio guide will be offered for free to all ticket holders, so that they can make the most of the experience.
Will food and beverage be available on-site for purchase?
There will be snacks and bottled drinks sold on-site.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Yes, there will be an opportunity to buy exclusive merchandise at the experience.

Is this a kid-friendly environment?
This event is recommended for all ages.
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive at the time stated on your ticket, but you can also wait for the next spot available.
What happens if I arrive late?
Your ticket will still be valid, but you may be required to wait until there is space in the following time slots.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Flash photography, alcohol, and anything which may disturb the other patrons.
Can I smoke or vape?
No, smoke or vaping is not permitted.
Is alcohol permitted at the experience?
No, alcohol is not permitted.
Will restrooms be available on-site?
Yes, you can find spotless restrooms that are cleaned regularly on-site.
What do I do if I have any questions about accessibility / special accommodations?
We reccomend you to ask the venue manager onsite.
Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
Whereas the exhibition includes audioguide, you’ll also be guided through the exhibition by written information, so deaf people will also be able to enjoy. The exhibition has chambers with movie screening where no subtitles will be available. Nevertheless, the exhibition has several artifacts that can be appreciated by everyone.
Is there Parking on site?
Parking is 50% off for all guests in lot P2425. Parking is available for purchase at the discounted rate at our Box Office. Please, have your license plate number ready upon entry to the experience.

Can I purchase a ticket at the door?
It is recommended that you buy tickets in advance, tickets onsite will be dependent on capacity and availability.
I can't find my ticket what now?
What are the official sellers for this experience?
Official tickets for Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures in Washington DC can only be purchased on Fever. Tickets are not available on any other website or ticketing platform.
What are the different ticket options and prices?
Tickets are sold per person. There are two ticket types:
- Standard Access - includes entry to the exhibition
- Adult (ages 13+)
- Child (4 to 12)
- Senior (65+), Student (13 to 26), or Military
- Group Bundle (min. 8 people) - enjoy a 10% discount on the ticket price
- VIP Access - includes skip-the-line entry to the experience at any time on your selected date, an exclusive poster
- VIP Adult
- VIP Child (4 to 12)
Can I reschedule my tickets to another date/time, or upgrade/downgrade my ticket?
We may be able to help reschedule or exchange your ticket for another date, time or ticket type that has not already sold out within 48h. Please contact us for more information. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. One of our agents will respond to your request as soon as possible, informing you of the next steps to follow.

MISCELLANEOUS
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other visitors. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted. Please feel free to share your photos and videos on Instagram by mentioning the exhibition account (@tutankhamun.expo).
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at the experience, except for service dogs.

Is there a place where I can leave my belongings?
Yes, there is a coat check at the entrance of the experience.

Do you offer carer tickets?
Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker.
For this experience, simply show proof of needing a carer ticket at the entrance and the carer will be allowed in for free.
Will there be strobe lights?
No, there will not be strobe lights.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
This is a walkthrough experience, but if you need a little rest, you will be able to find some seats for you to have a break.
Is there a Lost & Found? If so, we recommend prompting the users to ask the venue's staff, not User Support.
